Books and their Movie adaptations
The book is a film that takes place in the mind of the reader. Thats why we go the movies and say, "oh, the book is better." -Paulo Coelho Debate on this topic is on for years now. If someone would have asked me this some time ago I would have undoubtedly chosen book, every reader does. But with time I started believing that books and movies are completely different mediums, but serving same purpose. When you read a book you set your imagination free. You create characters, events, backgrounds in it. By default your mind will create things that is best from your perception. But when you see the film, you are actually seeing someone else's (or director's) perception on screen. And let's face it we will always like our perception more.
